As in the title, does anyone have some pretty god soloing build without using Prop skills ? Every good build seems to require Essence Bond, Balthazar's Spirit etc..

The problem with not having access to Essence Bond and Balthazar's Spirit is that those are the two major forms of energy management for a monk primary solo build. The majority of solo monk builds depend on Protective Spirit to prevent damage and some other spell to do the damage for you, the problem is both of these will more than likely cost 10 energy at a time. You will quickly run out of energy. So you will have to use your secondary to manage your energy.

Next is, you have given a pretty broad area to look at. What are you trying to solo? Because different areas require different skillsets. So give a little more detail, and then I will try to see what I can come up with. Or better yet, I will give you the basic things you need for a solo build. The things you need to consider are, Damage Capability, Damage Reduction, Energy Management and Healing. And depending on the area, hex removal or condition removal.

Take a look at the basic 55 monk

[card]protective spirit[/card] Damage Reduction
[card]balthazar's spirit[/card] Energy Management
[card]Shield of Judgment[/card] Damage Dealing
[card]essence bond[/card] Energy Management
[card]healing breeze[/card] Healing
[card]blessed aura[/card] Utility
[card]blessed signet[/card] Energy Management
[card]mending[/card] Healing

All you have to do is just fill in and tweak skills that you do not have access to with skills that you do. It just takes a little thought to find something that works.

Thanks for answering my post. I am looking for something more of a general solo build that would be at least good for wide range of areas. You know, I'm not looking for a special build for soloing UW or something. And also I'm not so good at coming up with builds, so I was hoping someone experienced would help me.

I have been trying to come up with something for a couple hours now and I am coming up blank. It's just that those 2 skills are basically a staple in solo farming, not only for the Monk but anything that takes a monk secondary. You may have to consider duoing something where you dont have to have Balthazar's or Essence, like a bonder team of some sort. Sorry, I just can't think of anything that would be effective, since every build I use for farming has some prophecies skill that the build hinges on. You might consider going Mo/W and using adrinaline attacks, while using maintained enchantments to keep yourself alive.

Thanks, now I know for sure Prophecies is essential for solong with monk. Well, I think I'll just have to buy Prophecies, although it's not available now here in Poland -.-

They made Factions and Nightfall that way so you couldn't solo as a Monk as you do need Prophecies for soloing as for a smite build possibly not but you wouldn't be soloing with it.

Actually, you should be able to buy it on the online store. When you log in and you are at the character selection screen, you should be able to access it either on the upper left or upper right. Although you will need a credit or debit card to purchase it.

Yeah, I know but unfortunetely I don't have neither credit nor debit card. Anyway, I ordered the cd-key (without box and stuff) and it should be coming to me anytime now
